Ice Skating

Jason and Lyric went ice skating this evening. Baby Lane and I hung out on the sidelines and in the penalty box taking pictures and watching. Lyric did well for his first time- he wants to go again, so that is good!

Making Dinner

Lyric helped me make dinner tonight. What was the menu? Well- grilled cheese sandwiches and noodle soup...perfect for a chilly November evening. The kids are so sweet- time just goes by too fast.

Fences

Kyle and I are going to begin staining fences to make some holiday moolah....he came over and practiced on our fence today.....It looks really good- hopefully we will be able to make some fun money. The kids played all afternoon- Baby Lane is cutting teeth- so he has not been very happy for the past few days...it is true what they say- if baby isn't happy, ain't nobody happy....I would LOVE to get more than 3 hours of sleep at a time!!

Halloween

Halloween was a fun night. We went downtown Edmond where all the merchants were set up outside their shops to give candy to the little ghosts and goblins. There were firetrucks and firefighters along with police men on motorcycles set up in the middle of the street. There were alos inflatables and carnival games in the street for kids a grown ups to have some fun. After downtown, we came home and Jason took Lyric around the neighborhood. We finished trick or treating by 7:30.

Lyric and Lane had a little bath time last night....fun fun fun.

J&R

Jan and Rick came over Monday and had dinner with us. We grilled out some awesome steaks and made some baked potato soup. We also tried a couple of the wines we brought back from Texas. The kids love seeing thier annie Jan and unkee Rick.....

Fall Break night 1

Jason and I are in Dallas visiting some friends and stocking up on our pumpkin ale supply. We went to a hamburger joint called Jakes and hung out on the patio. Having a great time so far...we just can't believe how much we miss our babies.

We had a couple of par-tays at the Gray house...we grilled chicken one night and everyone came over. We had a lot of fun- especially making s'mores around the huge fire pit. What a great weekend!

Boys Ranch

Jason and I took the boys to a family night at the Edmond Boys Ranch. It is a place for troubled boys to live in a loving, supportive, Christian environment. They had a big petting zoo, horseback rides, playgrounds, hot dogs, hamburgers, and other family fun events. We had a lot of fun there. Lyric would not pet any of the animals, but baby Lane did. He especially loved the camel- and the camel was pretty curious about him, too.

Union vs. Edmond North

We went to the football game as the visiting team- it was a little surreal to go into the stadium wearing Huskies gear- but we got to see lots of old friends. Here is a picture of me with my friend Tiffany- the orange punkin head is baby Lane....

We walked to the park today after school and took a few pictures. Got home and had spaghetti for dinner. Should have taken spaghetti pictures, they would have been pretty entertaining! baby Lane is growing like a weed...and Lyric is, well, Lyric is just too precious.

Thomas!

We took Lyric to see Thomas the Train on Sunday. It was a complete surprise- he was pretty excited, but didn't want to get too close to the action. We had a great time together. We started the day at Cracker Barrel for breakfast and then went to the Train museum for a few hours. We rode on the train- which was pulled by Thomas himself. We also watched a magician, got tattoos, and walked around. It was an awesome day as a real live family of four.....
