Austin- Day 1

Fun trip to Austin started with dinner at Shannon's. The kids played and played with all of Porter and Abigail's toys. Shannon broke out the bubble machine and the kids played in the bubbles while running around the yard. It was a great end to the first day of our mother-son Austin excursion.

My Birthday

For my big trip to the other side of my 30's, I had a great day with my family. I took the boys for a walk around the trail at Mitch park then had a picnic near the playground. After lunch we stopped for snowcones and headed home to rest.
That evening we went to Bricktown to watch the Red Dirt Rangers play near the fountains. It was a beautiful evening and we had nice time.

T-ball pics

Lyric is in his 2nd year of t-ball.....he is a great hitter and can really throw- we are fine-tuning his catching skills. Next year he will move on to some type of either coach-pitch or machine pitch...not sure. He is still cute in his little uniform and has a lot of fun playing.

Soaked

It feels like it has been raining here for the past month...I am ready to get back outside!!
Here are a couple of pics from the past week...
Lane's surfer-dude hair is gone....Julie was kind enough to keep Lane so Jason and I could go out to dinner- we had a nice time!! Lyric spent the night with Nana that night. Sunday was spent cleaning up the backyard and organizing bedrooms. Nice weekend!

Cool, dude! Love his hair....

Now he's all clean cut...still a cutie...

Lane's 3rd Birthday!

We celebrated Lane's 3rd birthday in Tulsa. What a great day! Time sure does fly, though.

SOOO BIG...he could not wait for us to sing Happy Birthday!

Making his wish...he got to make at least 10 wishes, he had me re-light the candle and sing to him several times after the party. He also sang a long.

Got Icing?

Lyric lost his FIRST tooth!! Thanks, Annie Jan!! The tooth fairy did visit and brought a gold dollar coin and several quarters...he hit the jackpot for a tooth the size of a cooked grain of rice. It was tiny!

Lyric's Penguin

Lyric's painting was selected to hang in a room at the new children's hospital in OKC. What an honor!! We are so proud of him!!

Receiving an award at school- kind of hard to see....

Baseball

Sundays are kids' days at the Redhawks games in Bricktown. After the game, kids can go on the field to run the bases, hit some balls, and play catch in center field. The boys love watching baseball and love going onto the field. We have a lot of fun there!

Festivals and Parades

We have been busy this Spring going lots of places and seeing all we can see. Near the end of April we went to the Arts Festival in OKC and to the 89er parade in Guthrie. Both were a lot of fun.
