We were pretty busy over the past weekend. We had 2 birthday parties to attend, football to watch, grocery shopping to complete, and games to play.
Friday night Lyric and I stopped by Sam's to get a few items- I also had to fill up my van- There are not too many things I enjoy less than buying gasoline. The pictures below tell you why it was a little less painless this time around.
That night we ordered 2 giant pizzas from
Hideaway and played cards with granddaddy, Carol, Mike, and Julie. It was a nice evening in.
Saturday morning we headed to Metro Gymnastics for party #1. The kids all had a great time- we had fun just watching them play with all of the the gymnastic equipment. After that party, we ran home to give Lane a nap before party #2- Evan's 9th birthday. I forgot my camera at home so you will just have to picture in your head all the fun we had.
Saturday night I made some yummy soup and we watched the OSU football game.
Sunday was a brunch- tried the new
spa system and became an investor in my own financial freedom as well as the longevity of my own beauty!
:)
Whew...we really know how to cram a lot of activities into a weekend!

I was completely empty...awesome huh!

Lane loving the bar at the gym- he could practically do a pull up! I guess I would be able to do a pull up, too if I only weighed 22 pounds!
