DONNA!

Donna's son, Joey, was in the state wrestling championships over the weekend so we met her at Penn Square in OKC. I really loved seeing her- but I think she loved seeing the boys even more....

Jen and Lane....

Lane held Donna's hand the whole time..so sweet

Lyric picked out a new tie for Jason- Lyric thought the tie was for him.

My Boys

Here's a pre-bedtime pic of me and the boys. I love them so much.

Don't look Granny...

Baby Lane had his first puffy cheeto- and of course I had to take pictures of it....He has 2 top teeth to go along with his 2 bottom teeth- so he enjoyed munching on the puff. There is also a picture of ZColin and Lyric having some ramen and grilled cheesse. Colin was in Florida for a whole week with his mom and dad to visit family- so when they got back, I had to have them over for dinner. Lyric and Colin were so happy to see each other- sometimes I don't understand how they miss each other because they bicker so much when they are together....practically like two brothers.

MMMMM.....loves it

It wasn't even that messy!!

Aww..look at those little feet on his high chair tray....

Best buds.....

Fun at the Zoo

The weather is so up and down....we try to really enjoy the nice days- so a few weeks ago we took the kids to the zoo. We had a great day...here are some pics.

Lyric was sitting in Lane's seat under the canopy enjoying some cereal....

What a cute little shot of the "Boogs".

More Valentine's

I forgot that my mom bought Colin and Lyric this Spiderman Nerf dart bullseye thing for Valentine's day. We got some good shots of them preparing for competition. FYI- Lyric wore the red glasses for days- even to the zoo (see above post....).

Top O' the Mornin'

Lyric made a leprechaun hat at school this week. Totally cute. Not sure what is more impressive, his paper hat making skills or the fact that I can spell leprechaun without using spell check.....

VAL Day

Nana picked up Lyric from school and had a wonderful Valentine's day with him. They went to the MAC- Edmond's Multi-Activity Center- where Lyric partook (?) in some crafts and treats. They went to lunch at AppleBees together- Lyric had the ever predictable "chicken nuggets, french fries, and sprite"- which he usually never eats. From there they went to GrandDaddy's and hung out for a bit. When I came home from work- my mom was at my house with both boys, she cleaned my floors, unloaded my dishwasher, and folded my laundry. What a wonderful Valentine's day!! Jason had very strict instructions to not spend any money on me that day- he took it literally and made me a valentine's card. It has to be the absolute best card I have ever received. I think the only thing that would top his card is a regular store-bought Hallmark job with a million dollars in it. Here are some pictures from my mom....

His first school valentine's day party...cute little cupcake....

Lyric LOVES his sugar.....

So Crafty!!

Fun at the MAC

Making my card- it was really cute!

Go Fly a Kite

With the weather being so nice, we couldn't pass up going to the park last weekend. We took a couple of kites, a little football, and some root beer. GrandDaddy and Memaw met us there for some fun at the park. Jason and I flew a kite together when we first started seeing each other. We went to the soccer fields across from Garnett Christian cChurch (near Jeff and Kathy's house). Aww...how sweet....we weren't really "dating" at the time- just hanging out as friends.
Colin loved flying his kite- he was a pro. Lyric played football with granddaddy- he is a busy body and flying a kite isn't too exciting when you want to run around. Baby Lane started on the blanket, but soon ventured off into the field with the other boys. I took lots of pictures- just because I can. Carol (memaw) started chemo last week to make sure her body is free of all the breast cancer. She is doign well so far, but will begin to feel the effects with each treatment (as well as lose her hair). It was just a fantastic afternoon- we ended the day by watching the super bowl with my brother and Mike. What a great day.

Fun with Baby

Although baby Lane doesn't feel great, he still looks pretty cute. Here are a few fun shots of him taking a bath in the sink, playing with toys in his room, and chowing on some Cheerios. He will be 9 months old this week. I can't believe it.

cupcakes

Julie's daughter turned 14 recently. She wanted silver and red cupcakes....so I volunteered to make them for her and her slumber party. They were a hit- and a lot of fun to make....
