No Pictures?

OK- this is the first week of school (with students). Let me remind you that these are not just any students, they are 7th graders. A whole new breed of young people. Needless to say- I have not taken any pictures or thought about blogging this week. I fell asleep while reading to Lyric tonight (at 6pm). Isn't HE supposed to go night night when I read- not the other way around?
We MIGHT close on our Edmond house the same day we close on the Tulsa house- say a prayer that we can- we are all ready to have some space. My brother and sister-in-law have been awesome letting us stay here- but it has ben a little tight.
OK- so that's all to update you with- Lane is teething- he is a little young- but maybe he is just gifted.
Lyric is picking up some not so pleasant habits from others, like extra annoying whining and the release of blood curdling sounds (that mainly happens at Target).
talk to you soon....I'll try to take some pictures soon- really....if not for anything else for Granny- who misses my babies more than I would if I were out of town for a few days.

First Week in Edmond

Well, I haven't been on here all week. We have been trying to get settled into the spare bedroom at my brother's house, trying to find a new house to buy, and trying to get back in the groove of working full time. We thought we would be able to sleep peacefully on the hide-a-bed couch for the month of August- after one night of no sleep, I went to purchase a new queen size mattress set. Now, we are doing much better. We shopped for a home to purchase every night this week. We finally found one and put a contract on it last night. There will be more information to come on this one later.
Today, we are at my parents' house for Colin's 5th birthday party. We are having a good time, but it is pretty hot outside. Not much else going on- we are trying to relax and get psyched up for a full work week next week. The boys will start their day care on Monday- that will be a tough day for me for sure!
Here are a few photos of what has been happening....

Home Sweet Home.....Dead grass will be replaced with live grass...

Dr. Visit

Baby Lane got lots of vaccinations at the doctor today....these were taken BEFORE the shots.....He weighed 10 pounds 11 ounces and was 24 and a half inches long....he's such a good boy!

Fun in the Sun

Colin and Nana are here visiting while Jason is out of town. We moved the slide into the little swimming pool and hooked the water hose up to it- needless to say- it was a blast for them......They also have been playing with stickers and crayons on the patio, drinking lots of Capri Suns, swinging on the swingset, and just general horsing around......
